Hello:
breastfeeding is the best way to feed a baby, everyone, even big enterprises producing artificial milk (because they are obliged by World Health Organization) will tell you that.
On the mothers point of view, breastfeeding is work and love, means involving very closely in providing your babys needs and availability for that physical, emotional and psicological link.
In old days that was a "natural" and somehow more easy process, but as we have so much now - culture, society, pressures, new fears - between us and our nature it is also "natural" now that we can have more difficulties. I had.
So the best one can do is be aware of all the fears and myths that can come between you and your baby. Have a contact of a Doulas association or a god nurse to help you with breast feeding just after birth.
Do not let anxiety get between you too, in a form of ditactorial percentage growth that can make less informed pediatricians to give artificial milk as first solution and lose this precious nectar for the baby. I did.
And in cesarean birth is the most common, do not dispear at first, baby and mother need to learn how to breast feed and you can overcome ;)
But also, do not let dictatorial "must be natural" rules desaprove of you as a mother and create more anxiety between you and baby, if for working reasons, for owns health or rest reasons, you choose not to breast feed.
Live freely with your baby, the best solution is for you both, no one else - love.
PS - boobs shape? They will grow anyhow and if you do not wear a good bra, they'll feel the push, breastfeeding or not;)

There are benefits to breast feeding your baby rather than feeding them formula milk, no to mention the fact that it is a lot more convenient, and there is also the matter of cost.
Formula milk can work out to be very expensive especially for a family who are living on limited means. Formula milk costs can often exceed $100 per month with this price rising even further as the baby grows.
Another advantage of your baby being breast fed rather than given formula is that breast fed babies on the whole tend to be healthier. This is due tonaturally occuring antibodies from the nursing mother being transferred through her milk to the baby.

I would be much happier being fed from the breast rather than the bottle.
