Horribly scary. Also, the science was handpicked. I feel that it was a "scare tactic" not real science. Science should never be politicized. Odd that Al Gore was almost interesting though. For that alone it deserves and award. ;)

I see that some of you like science, but pay no attention to the scientific method.
Gore's temperature increases are over the last 30 years! If you took the entire time the earth has been here, then humans would be alive for only seconds.
Gore theory of looking at the last 30 years is like walking by a dead dog and looking at it for 1 hour. At the end of the hour it is still dead, and you say, I looked at this dog for an hour, and it was never alive, so I therefore conclude that it never was alive. That is utterly ridiculous, but that is what gore is doing. He is looking at the "human" impact over 30 years and ignoring literally thousands of years of data. Did you know that al gore has had many chances to debate this with people that disagree with him for almost 2 years, but he just won't do it. It is hard to believe in anyone's opinion when they refuse to argue it with people that disagree and only with people that do agree.
Now, if you look at the statistics over thousands of years, you will see other trends. Did you know that during the midevil times, temperatures were much warmer than they are now. That is with fewer people, NO industrialized nations or SUV's.
The earth's temperature fluctuates, and although it is nice to think that humans make a difference here, we really amount to a very little on the global scale.
This one will unfortunately be around forever b/c people will refuse to look at all the data. They only look at the small subset of data that fits their point of view.
There are many other things he says that all have similar flaws, but this is the main point, so I only address it. If anyone truly wants to know the truth, it is out there. I encourage you all to find it.
Now, to throw you all off. I still think we should look for better gas mileage and cleaner fuel, just b/c it is the better thing to do.
Fact-Global Warming is true
Fact-Humans have very little to do with it and it is part of a NORMAL cycle of fluctuations.
Did you know the North and South Pole switch. This is 100% true, and humans have nothing to do with it! The earth actually changes!

Didn't see it but read his book.
Extremely well researched and very informative. Especially check out the glaciers that have receded worldwide and the global temperature increas/ global CO2 increase since the industrial revolution. Also, shrinking of the polar ice caps is very unsettling.
Seems like a slam dunk conclusion when you consider all the evidence together. Hopefully when Bush finally leaves in two years we'll have a leader responsible for reversing the rising trend of dumping greenhouse gases into the air.

i think of its achieveable that worldwide warming isn't a results of becoming CO2 tiers brought about by potential of people over the final a hundred years or so, yet a results of organic adjustments contained in the sunlight. there are various scientists who've shown data for this concept which needless to say shows that Gore's information isn't as precise as he could have us have faith. little ones would desire to learn as many factors of view as is achieveable, in easy terms then will they be waiting to make advances in destiny technology.

While there may well be political leverage for Al Gore intended, one doesn't even need to be a scientist to note that climate is warmer...for example several hottest records have occurred in the last ten years, and is it so odd that climate and ecology are damaged when profiteering has overshadowed the respect for people and environment...as someone said, God gave us abundantly for our needs, but not for our greed.
