A captain of a team brings the game disrepute and hold the officials to ransom that they will not play the ODI series, and finally gets away with a very lenient punishment , it shows clearly that the ICC is not in control its truely the Asian market which is dictating the terms, that mean all the cricket boards and market driven , hence this no sports any more ,,,,,,,,,,,,just a waste of time

Inzamam was not entirely at fault if u look at the events which led to his misappropiate action. Darrel Hair has time and again made decisions which have made the sub continental teams look as if they were cheats. His decision in that match again reeked of biasness against Pakistani team and made a farce of a finely poised match. He needs to do a bit of soul searching if he wants to continue in the top flight umpiring. This does not mean that Inzamam should have gone away with such lenient punishment. He is the captain of Pakistan and needs to lead by better example.

regardless of being an ardent India supporter, I certainly have continuously observed the fortunes of Pakistan. Pakistan group is in finished disarray, they have misplaced their way. Clueless, leaderless and it look they might somewhat play for their very own glory than for the final delight of their u . s . a .. no longer very diverse from the way Sunil Gavaskar used to play. interior the previous each ball Imran Khan or Kapil Dev introduced it became for their u . s . a .. such a excitement to video exhibit such miraculous sportsmen. I certainly have mentioned this earlier on a solid day there is not any one solid sufficient to handle Pakistan. So the place has all the skills, harmony and oneness long previous?

Merely, Darrell Hair has done this out of sheer frustration.

Because of technology, I believe the importance which used to be given to the field umpires have reduced to quite an extent.

Since the Asian Continent are developing countries, prime focus will always be on the sub-continent because, Sub-Continent teams are major revenue earners for ICC.

Besides Mr. Hair has always found means and sources to criticize on many occasions the Pakistani team.

Now the question arises, is he doing that because it a Muslim team and he can't stand Muslims??????

Such things has happened in the past also. There has been controversy of match fixing, ball tampering etc. in the past also. But still the game has not lost its glamour. It is mainly because of the funds the game generates. As long as flow of money continues by way of sponsorship, advertisements etc., the game will continue to retain its glamour.

It's just a waste of time for seeing those drama, but still there is good matches and players who don't cheat. It's could be true that there will be players who play or cheat for money, but we can't just say it as we don't know anyone.

I think People forget the fact that both people inzamam and hair were at fault on that fatefull day.Hair should have given proof of his claims and inzamam should have played the game in protest instead of sitting in the dressing room.
