Breast feeding the child, and buy a good large wheel stroller, and start walking every day, several times a day. It makes you calmer and makes the baby calmer, making for a happier family. While the child is napping, do some crunches and leg lifts. Get a video and do some basic calesthenics to tone up.

Breast feeding is the key, though, as it costs the mother's body so many calories, it is amazing.

Before I left the hospital, the doc said: "Walk when you can, and drink tons of water". I did, and the weight came off plus an extra 10 pounds within 6 weeks.

BUT, losing weight doesn't mean getting your body back. Depending on your age, etc, you might not be able to.

I was 39 when I had mine....I had always had a small waist. That is gone, because my upper abdomen got all stretched out. Something I didn't really expect. But who cares? We have these gorgeous kids now.

Fastest way? lol

Really, best things are to watch what you eat. Drink lots of water. Breastfeeding helps- uses up calories and makes the uterus shrink faster. Walk a lot - show off that new baby. Suck your gut in to work abs.

Figure out what you need for calories, subtract 100 or 200, if not breastfeeding. Having good genes is a plus.

in simple terms exercising. yet do alot of cardio and upload weight education as properly. i prefer to propose pilates, that's what i've got been usuing to tone each and every thing up and then i exploit 10 pound dumbbells for the physique sculpting workouts and that i attempt to do an hour of cardio an afternoon. frequently walking interior the morning and pushing the infant interior the stroller after artwork. so a ways i've got lost 30 of the 50 pounds I won. remember,it took 9 months to make a infant,it is going to take approximately that long to lose the infant weight.

I'm in the process of working on getting mine back. I'm nursing, doing Weight Watchers, and exercising with the baby. I lost all my pregnancy weight plus ten pounds and two inches so I can wear my fat clothes again and pack up my maternity wear. Other than surgery, these things take time. My docs told me I won't really start to get it back and lose pounds until she's about 6 months! But I'm still trying...I've got two more months until then. Good luck to you!

breast feeding helps lose some of the weight..also take the baby for walks in the stroller..eat right.. also there are classes that you can take aerobics with you and the baby. they are really fun because you get to exercise with your baby and you get a little extra bonding time. Just take it slow and dont worry about it too much. It took you 9 months to gain the weight its not gonna just fall off over night. and every time you feel fat just look at the wonderful baby you got out of it.

Breastfeed and eat a proper amount of food. Do NOT diet if you are breastfeeding unless it's under the supervision of a doctor. Weight Watchers has a plan for nursing mothers. After your doctor OK's it, start gentle exercise and start working up from there.

I would start with healthy eating. Especially if you are breast feeding. And depending on how long it has been since you delivered your baby, I would do some easy exercising. Be sure and stretch well! Good luck to you and God bless!
