at how many weeks can you hear your babies heart beat at the dr office.

If there aren't any complications (bleeding, cramping etc.) then my doctor said she wouldn't even try before 9 weeks.
She said the baby's so small and in such a big space that at that point that she can't always find the heartbeat and if she checks and doesn't find it then the mothers get worried and stressed out so she'd rather wait until the next appointment if everything's going fine.

Depends on where the baby is in your uterus and if the placenta is in the way. Can be heard about 10 or 12 weeks, but seen by u/s at about 6 or 8 weeks.

the babies heart actually begins to beat at 5 weeks. When i went at 10 weeks, they were able to hear it very faintly. Most doctors will try to find it as early as they can past the 5th week :)

I went at 12 weeks to see if we could hear it, but we didn't and it made me nervous. I was told that being I was overweight that it could be longer so I went back at 14 weeks and we heard it. I think everyone's body is different so it is found at different times. Good luck!

Usually by about 6 weeks. But that can vary depending on your size. Some women it takes a little longer like 8 weeks, but by then for sure.

I was in a car accident when I was 7 weeks pregnant and at the hospital they checked the hearbeat and you could hear it,,,,,very faintly but you could hear it. I think you can start to hear it very well at 12 weeks.

i heard mine w/ an u/s at 6 weeks and with a doppler at 11 weeks. it's the best sound in the world!
