Only if they're CD-RW's that haven't been finalized. If it is a CD-RW, it will be specified on the CD label.

a CD-R is writable only once. A CD-RW is a special kind of writable CD that allows you to erase and re-write data. The label on your CDs will tell you what type of CD you have and if not, then you can usually tell by looking at the data side. CD-RWs have a really dark, dense look to them. If you've ever seen the inside of a hard drive, it almost looks like a drive platter. You can only re-write over a CD-RW approximately 1000 times. Also, some older CD players will not read CD-RWs.

Sadly, no. Once you put data on a CD, it can't be over-written. The best advice for this scenario: Congratulations, you've just created a coaster. Now you won't ruin your coffee table.
