because, if the stars are travelling away from each other then surely they must have started from the centre all together and some force pushed them to move away from each other. however many say this dont make sense, why?

Yes lets go with the easy answer...god put us here, and you know, Zeus makes lightning come from the sky, and Poseidon looks over the fish in the sea and creates tsunamis and hurricanes, that's called Greek mythology. and its how ancient Greeks answered questions they couldn't figure out through science.
I'm not totally discrediting god, but couldn't god have made the molecule that banged. But riddle me this; If the big bang never happened why is it an ever expanding universe, did he just say..."HEY I GOT AN IDEA LETS MAKE THE UNIVERSE 100 LY x 100 LY. Then we will stretch it out for no particular reason"

I think that a lot of opposition to the Big Bang theory comes from theists who have bought into the idea that the theory somehow disproves the existence of God. This premise is faulty, and I would encourage them to consider the following:
"The history of the Big Bang model for well over three-quarters of a century has been one of radical predictions repeatedly confirmed and the repeated failure of every attempt, some of them extremely speculative, to avoid the absolute origin of the universe posited in the standard model. With each failure, the theory is corroborated anew."
Those are not the words of some hard-core atheist, they were written by William Lane Craig, probably one of today's best known Christian apologists and a frequent debater of atheists.
Not only does the Big Bang in no way disprove God's existence, but, as Dr. Craig points out, the fact that the universe had an origin a finite amount of time ago can be used to argue for a creator through the Kalam cosmological argument, which states:
(1) Anything which begins to exist has a cause;
(2) The Universe Began to exist;
(3) Thus, the Universe has a cause.
When the Big Bang theory was first proposed, a lot of opposition came from atheists who thought the idea that the universe was started (instead of being eternal) had theological implications. In fact, the term "Big Bang," was coined by atheist Fred Hoyle who was a big critic of the idea.
Proof that the universe began a finite time ago supports theism. Pope Pius XII, opened a conference at the Vatican in 1951, by declaring that the theory bore witness "to that primordial 'Fiat lux' uttered at the moment when, along with matter, there burst forth from nothing a sea of light and radiation. ... Hence, creation took place in time, therefore there is a creator, therefore God exists!"
But, the short answer to your question is that most opponents of the Big Bang theory reject it because they take at face value the (unjustified) statements of certain atheists that it somehow makes God unnecessary and thus silly to believe in.

The big bang does make a lot of sense in fact.
Its currently the most accepted theory about the origin of the universe .
However the theory does leave some questions unanswered.
For instance , the big bang doesnt mention where did the singularity come from , neither does it answer the question as to "why did the big bang occur in the first place? "
The Big-Bang does make a lot of sense, though the theory is far from being a complete one.

I don't believe it because I know God made everything. The big bang is just a little story for atheists.

People are free to believe what they wish, that there really is a man in the moon, or just anything. Some really do not believe in science at all.
I suggest that you take this in stride, and enjoy your day anyway.

ok. if the "big bang" really put us here, then who made our bodies and knew exactly how they would work? God made EVERYTHING, including you and me
