Basketball is the greatest game in the world. I love to play it, and to watch. It's one of the most energizing sports, as well as an exciting one to watch.
As for the new basketball the NBA has introduced, I would hate to play with anythign other than the custimary leather ball. But I'm sure that the players will adjust, and once they practice with it long enough, it'll feel normal to them.

Well, I think it will take a couple of games to get used to. I know Dwayne Wade and Shaq have complained that the ball is too slippery and dislike it. But, the change was due to the ball actually being "stickier" which allows better grip when it is wet. I honestly think it wont matter a few months into the season, the players will adjust and will never remember the change. Besides all the players in the NBA drive to the hoop and get fouled not shoot the ball. Also, the players have been exposed to the ball since last year and training camp.

If you are talking about the sport I think basketball is a great sport which I deeply love and worship.....if you were referring to the new NBA basketball I think it will bring more high scoring games next season ,I have tried the ball and it has great technical features.

Basketball was invented in Canada by Andrew Nasmith(not sure of spelling). The only problem is that Canadians can't jump, to much snow on our feet.

well, it depends on what you mean.
if you mean basketball as a sport - it's not as great as football.
if you mean the "new" basketball that the NBA unveiled for this year, which apparently hasnt changed in 35 years - i dont see any difference
