How do I find out if my boyfriend is married in another city?

My boyfriend has told people he is married. When I ask him if he is he says no. He promises me. I ask him why people said he was and he said because he just said he was to make his job look better. He is a cop and I am a dispatcher and I love him very much.

he might refer to you as his wife but you can always look in the register of marriages type in his name and date of birth and see what comes up

Shall I say oh no! He may be married and a liar. Check the county records for a marriage certificate w his name on it- or maybe ask the newspaper for info on a wedding of so and so-If he ran off to Vegas or Mexico you may never know= how many independents does he claim on his check? Check out a pay stub-is there ins at work that has a spouse on it-???Is there an old tax return around w his and wife's name on it-we don't need a lying cop-does he disappear for days at a time?? I am not sure, but I think perhaps you could start by looking up his name on google. Sometimes that turns up interesting information. Of course if it's a really common name, it can be hard to find the right information. I hope he's not married to someone and this all works out for you for the best.

Check his vehicle registration lol. If there's a woman's name on there then there's your answer. And don't fall for "Oh that's my sister, the car is under both our names."
