I agree with you, I always treat my animals/pets like people, with lots of love! They almost seem more human than some of my friends. LOL! (honestly)
Take care!

I like pets, but I think that is ridiculous. I have 3 children and can't imagine putting a pet on the same par. Besides I potty trained the children, I couldn't ever potty train dog. Maybe if could I would have liked the dog better.

Like a human. I talk to the cat, knowing full well it won't reply. I'm also a lot nicer to it than a lot of other people.

I treat my cat like a member of the family. Actually he is the king of the house, and a spoiled little baby. I treat him better than my husband.

I treated my dog as a human but my chipmunk gets treated like an animal cause its harder to get affection from a chipmunk then a dog or cat, but my dog 'was' my baby :(

IT DEPENDS ON THE PET. MY PARAKEETS WERE PETS, MY SENEGAL PARROT WAS LIKE A SON TO US. I DIDN'T GRIEF WHEN WE HAD TO RELOCATE THE PARAKEETS BECAUSE THE DUMB STUPID CAT WE GOT FOR MY OLDEST DAUGHTER [OK SECRETLY I LIKE THE CAT, BUT NOT WHEN SHE IS IN HEAT]. THE CAT JUST WOULDN'T LEAVE THEM ALONE. BUT DAKOTA HAD HIS BLUFF IN ON THE CAT AFTER BITING THE CAT'S EARS AND TAIL. DAKOTA HAD TO GO WITH US ALMOST WHEREEVER WE WENT TO. HAD TO EAT AT LEAST A BITE OF WHAT WE WERE EATING. WE LOST DAKOTA TO INJURY/ILLNESS AUG 1 AND WE STILL CRY OVER OUR LOSS.
I STILL HAVE 2 COCKATIELS AND THEY ARE NOT THE SAME AS THEY HAVE BONDED TO EACH OTHER. YES I TALK TO THEM, BUT IT'S NOT THE SAME.
AND WHEN NO ONE IS AROUND, I WILL EVEN LOVE ON THE CAT.
