Not just anywhere. It has to be the ears, they're some place on the head. But if your dogs name is Prince or Albert, and a bit of a cocker-spaniel, there just may be another place.

A nail gun will do the trick quite nicely. Have you thought of getting him a British Bulldog tattoo and a sovereign ring while you are at it.
