Buy a puppy. Ours is systematically removing everything from the borders. Am sure it wouldn't discriminate against grape Hyacinths.

I don't know why you'd want to, as I think they are beautiful, but you need to dig down and get the bulbs out.

Dig them up - easier to do when they are in flower. They are lovely though - hope you're going to find a new home for them!

similarly to Roxy's response , i can't imagine why . but i guess to each his /her own . you know that they are a wonderful alternative to the daffodil with the colour at least . anyhow if your mind is made up , then digthem up , because that's the only way to be rid of them ; and indeed that may not be foolproof ; anyhow it's your call !

they're a bulb plant, so you'll have to dig the up. start about 4 inch away or so, so you can get the bulbs they might be creating.
