There was a famous Political Scientist named E. E. Schattschneider, who many years ago coined a series of "Laws" of politics. His 3rd law states, "it is impossible to get all of the S.O.B.s into one political party."
Thus, the answer to your question is, "no." When some Democrats speak it is a lie; and when some Republicans speak it is also a lie. Okay? Regardless of party, all politics is partly truth, and partly fiction.
And the moral in all of this is, never give your soul to politicians or a political party by assuming they are always right. They are people; and eventually they will screw-up and leave you in a ditch.

Son, if a politician's lips are moving they are lying.
When was the last time you actually listened to a politician speak and clearly understood where they stood on an issue.
Do politicians only have issues? Interesting

Everything Democrats say is smoke, mirrors, and lies.
That's all they got going for them, following Marx and lying to get there.

There's a typo in your question. Didn't you mean "Republicans"? i.e. Foley, Bush, etc
