It's always hard to answer a question like this, simply because it's very few rappers that's made consistent albums, let alone just 3 or 4 songs. I going to have to say Tupac, just because of the complexity of his work. Although Biggie, Jay-Z & even Rakim are great, they just don't have the emotion & different side of life that Tupac's works has. From "Dear Mama" to "Lord Knows to "So Many Tears. His willingness to go insinde himself Is what makes him great for me.

eminem is a TERRIBLE rapper but he has some entertaining songs. 50 cent is a little *****.
i think dr. dre and snoop dogg have put out the best stuff.. 2pac is really good on a couple of songs, but most of his songs weren't good. the black album by jay-z is good, but he is annoying, doing duets with linkin park and dating beyonce and blah blah blah
illmatic by nas is good. biggie was good too. but avoid p. diddy like the plague.
also, a handful of DMX's songs are really really cool and ice cube has some good tunes. original pirate material by the streets is an interesting rap cd by a white english rapper rapping about everyday life.
the thing about rappers is, you aren't going to find a rap cd full of good songs like you can find a rock cd full of good songs. they tend to make a few good songs and the rest are awful.

confident, there are different rappers who've rapped approximately significant issues, yet there are lots of people who heard 2Pac's words.. he has an incredible fan base. uncomplicated would not actually have a fragment of that. There are different rappers that are emotional, yet no one had the comparable interest that 2Pac had. while it comprises interest and effect, there are not many that are extra effective than %.

Tupac Shakur is the best as regards poetry, messages, e.t.c. But for living artists, i would prefer Kanye West because he's flexible, has strong message content and doesn't have to yell or shout before its considered as rap.

2pac. He had great songs that the poor and trodden down lower class of this country can relate too. He made rap that had social implications. Jay-Z or Eminem could never compare. He was a born leader.

i believe the best rapper would have to be JAY-Z. hes like a living legend! i love him, and even though a lot of people hate him, i dont get. cuz those people are just hating on him , cuz he earned millions by rappin and they cant do that
