Although not potentially harmful, I don't suggest you sleep with makeup on.
Makeup in general is acne inducing, regardless if you see the words non-comedogenic slapped on the label. Acne is formed when follicles, often called pores, sometimes get blocked. Sebum (oil) which normally drains to the surface gets blocked and bacteria begins to grow--as the bacteria feeds on the oils your skin produces.
Acne Cosmetica is a term used for acne caused by cosmetics. It appears mainly on the chin and cheeks. It has been suggested that approximately 25% of women suffer from this type of Acne, most of whom have a history of heavy make-up use. The management is simple. Discover which cosmetic is causing the Acne and stop using it.

Its not harmful to leave your make up on over night once in a while. But ideally you should remove it every night, even if you are tired or can't be bothered. Night time is the best time for all your skin and cell renewal and I always tell clients to have a good skin care routine before you so to bed so that the skin can maximise the nutrients while you sleep.
If you don’t remove makeup before bed, it could clog up pores and oil glands. When the make up becomes impacted in pores, it can make them appear larger which is a part of aging! Once your collagen levels decline, the pore does not snap back as easily once it has been enlarged. It is best to break this habit sooner rather than later. Additionally, leaving makeup on the face could lead to inflammation, which can lead to inflamation and spots.
If you follow a good bed time skin routine, its natural healing powers will be maximised during the night, and it will stay in better condition for a longer period of time.
Dont get me wrong, I use those all in one cleasing cloths, but have you ever wiped your face with a tissue afterwards, there is always some make up left over, so I always follow with a mild cleanser and night cream (depending on your age). As I said NIGHT TIME is when the skin absorbs all the goodnedd you have put into it. Hope this helps

I used to do what you are doing ALL the time! It's not the best thing in the world and your skin might not like you for it. The best remedy is to either use mineral makeup or get some make up remover wipes and do a quick wipe as you stumble into your room to pass out on the bed.

Of course it's not healthy! Some people can get away with it. I know I can't. If I happen to fall asleep after partying all night with make-up, I usually count on breaking out within a week!
Your skin needs to breathe and if you have been out all night with the make-up on and then fall asleep and it's still on..your face is basically breeding bacteria.

Do not sleep with your makeup on because at nights your skin cells are breathing and taking in most of the oxygen. Once they absorb the oxygen, they also absorb other bad products within your cosmetics.

It is really bad for your skin, unless you use minerals makeup. Just take a wet wipe and clean your face when you get home. Gosh, if your that tired, do it while your in bed laying down!

most people are going to tell you NO NO DONT. there right, however if you use a mineral based makeup, it won't clog your pores. It's hard to go in and do a good facial cleaning early in the morning. If you used a mineral make up i think you'll be just fine.

2. plenty of sleep
3. plenty of water
4 always use a good make up (hypo allergenic)

It might depend on how much you put on, I am 46, and I almost never take mine off at night, though I don't cake it on either. my skin is clear and fresh looking, put a moisturiser on before the make up, I use johnsons baby moisturiser.
