Yes, They are easy to hatch and grow. They are brine shrimp and need salt. They also need a constant supply of air. The best way is to make your own hatcher. (check web for instructions). Do not buy food from shop for them as it is very expensive. Once again check the web for suitable foods as i cant remember what i fed mine. Good luck.

They are easy to grow.And a waste of money. They are a fresh water shrimp. If you ever go to Stone mountain Georgia, there are shallow pools where rainwater collects on top of the mountain. In these shallow puddles you will find sea monkeys. They have always been there. How did they get there and how do they survive?

Yes, but I thought I would get lots, but ended up with about 6.

Got them to follow a torch light though which was cool.

Not since I was little, but it always worked. I used to swear I could see their little faces like they show on the package, lol....hey, I was only like 6 years old.

yes and they lived for about 1 year before i went on holiday and my mum put tap water in them and then they all died.
But they were grat fun to grow and the kids loved them!

yep!! they are great and so easy to grow. i reccommend them to anyone as a hassle free pet. you can even get em sea monkey bananas!!!

Yeah.
But they are just a type of salt water shrimp.
It was fun for a while, then I fed them to my fish.

yes we had some but after a while they started making me feel a bit sick, cos they are a bit like headlice only they can swim.

yeah i had some once, they grew and ate each other, it was a sort of mix of interesting and boring at the same time. go for it!!
