If you were terrified of going to hospital?.
If can stay in there but, its uncomftable and it makes my bone weaker, etc.
Should I get it out?

I had a friend who was missing one of his collar bones and only had a half of one on the other side. He could touch his shoulders together.freaky cool

I have a titanium plate and screws in my neck along with cadavar bone wedges. I had several weeks of discomfort after surgery but that abated and I have had great success with mine and will have more done if necessary. My surgeon at Southern Hills Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, is wonderful! Why are you fearful of going to the hospital? You should listen to the counsel of your surgeon. If you're not comfortable with that, get a second opinion.
