Have a serious talk with the dishwashers about how much those glasses cost, and that while accidents do happen, you want to see far less of them.
Also, if you have fine stemware, like Riedel crystal, tell them that while they're drying/buffing them, do NOT twist the stem! Those suckers snap easily.
Tell the bussers that when they're cleaning a table, to handle the glassware with care, there's been a lot of breakage.
If the glasses are old, they may just be getting brittle from the constant washing...can't help that.
And if customers break them accidentally, well, you can't help that. Write it off as a loss.
