well they wont will they, due to the effect of counter equal rights, women and ethnics will overtake the rest and have MORE rights. until after 100 years it goes back the other way...

Because globalisation is about multi-national corporations paying cheap labour costs in the Third World in order to make even more money selling goods in the First World.
It has nothing to do with promoting women's rights.
Multi-national corporations will employ child labour or use women as slaves if they can get away with it. Which they usually do.

In every culture everywhere, throughout all time, the only constant, or the only trait that all cultures share is that women are second class next to the men. Despite affirmitive action and democratic law, this has not changed anywhere. As long as there are men and women, there will always be men who view women as just an expensive commodity.

There is no inevitability that anyone will be given equal rights. Any rights we have are the result of campaigns and demands in the past. Remember rights can be taken away as well. For example, womens rights to work and show their face in public in Afghanistan were taken away only a few years ago.
