It all depends what you wanted to be for halloween. Are you looking for that is cute? If you have long hair, you can do all kinds of things to it to make you very cute. You could check out the dollor store to find cheap costume or a discount store.

Get a old T shirt, a old pair of Jeans and rip the hell out of them, mess up your hair, poor a bottle or two of fake blood over them (normally only about 79p from the post office or corner shop) and rub mud and gravel in to you and the clothes. You are going for the effect that you have been in a major car accident. A friend of mine did it a few years back, called in to the local shop and had someone in tears asking if they could call a ambulance for him.

For the love of God don't go as a witch!

Quite possibly the most unoriginal costume.

a witch, an evil scarecrow, or a black cat are pretty simple to do.
Or even a evil magician, a mummy, a evil clown or just a freaky looking old woman or fairly simple to do.

i know this web page which might help

Why not go as a stretch of road? Basically go as a sandwich man with road markings. There are plenty of songs which have roads in them if you wanted a title eg 'Penny Lane'
