No, you have to do the Father Ted method.
Rig the with a bomb that is engaged when the float's speed exceeds a hefty 5mph. He then cannot slow down or the float will explode. Ring him at that moment, tell him that if he doesn't buck his ideas up, you will activate the bomb and cause a dairy based catastrophe. There will be a lot of crying over spilt milk.
Being a conscientious milkman, he should agree, and you'll never get a botched up delivery again.

Go for it! Exploding a firework in his float will be such a selfless act of retribution that you will be heralded as the saviour of Britishness!!
Yeah right!Get a grip lad.
Write a polite note in letters large enough and clear enough to read ,stating what it is you would like your order to consist of. Then the day after he has read it, install a recoding of Pomp and Circumstance in your door step.
If the poor soul gets it wrong again, let the tape play at full blast as he places the milk bottles or cartons on your step.
That should get his attention!

Yes, without a doubt. However given milk floats travel at a ridiculously low speed make sure you do it far from your home otherwise it'll ruin your front garden, and you'll be picking yoghurt pots out of the grass for weeks.

i dont think that would be a good idea, the best thing to do is leave him a polite but stern letter telling him to buck his ideas up, either taht or buy your milk from somewhere else.

No.
1) complain to the dairy, or
2) buy it from a shop

of course - incorrect dairy orders always facilitate the need for justifiable revenge acts of terrorism.

I don't know whether it will teach him a lesson or not (and check on how big he is first!), but the mental image conjured up by your question made me smile this morning. Thanks!
