This is the oldest question, friend or fanny. The only time its acceptable for two friends to fall out over a girl is if one guy is already with the girl and the friend is negative towards her. If neither of you are with her it's stupid to fight over her. She may not like either of you that way. Maybe she just likes chillin with you both. She could have her eyes on someone else for all you know and it would be silly to break up a friendship for a shot at the unknown.
Girlfriends / boyfriends come and go, but real friends will always be there for each other.
MBM - Mates Before Muff. Never chose a girl over a friend unless she was on the scene first - AS YOUR GIRL!! If she was your friend before she met this other lad you have an advantage. Talk to her. You may not hear what you want to hear but I wouldn't recommend fighting over a girl unless you both know that at least one of you will have a happy ending with her. And only she will have that answer.

if he is good mate then talk to him and tell him you like her if he is a good mate he'll understand. don't let a girl get between you its not worth it. try talking to her! see if she likes you or your mate but she may just see you both as mates and then you are falling out over nothing.
