I have to go to an Interview tomorrow. Help !!!!!!

word is for writing complaint letters.

excell is for masking yourself very angry because you dont know how to use the dam thing.

and power point is for makin silly pictures.

Excel is a spreadsheet application, Word is a Word Processing application and Powerpoint is a presentation application.

Spreadsheets have rows and columns and are mostly used for calculations, for example accounting. Presentation software is designed to create and show slides, such as one would use for a presentation or a lecture - main headings with bullet points, graphs, pictures and so on to illustrate the presentation.

All the packages you mention are part of the Microsoft Office suite.

Well... they are all programs from Microsoft Office:
1- Excell is simpley a spreadsheet program in the Microsoft Office package which is used to perform mathematical calculations using certain formulae (e.g: sum, average, max & min, standard deviation, almost all mathematical operations etc......). It also has the ability of drawing charts and graphs. It's widely used in businesses (i.e: help in calculating payrolls, taxes, net pay, percentages almost all financial operations etc.....)
2-Word is the Microsoft Oficce's Word processing program It's uesd to Create documents and reports having the advantage of producing neat and clear documents; you can also put graphics and pictures to help illustrate the text written.
3-Powerpoint is the package's presentation authoring software.used to prepare material in different types such as educational and advertising material. The project can be prepared in the form of slides which can be easily displayed using overhead, projectors or films. It has the great advantage of adding all kinds of media including animation and sound.

Excel is a spreadsheet program -used for creating charts, spreadsheets, tables for financial data..

PowerPoint is a presentation software program used for creating slide shows and projection transparancies.

All these programs can be integrated with each other to form all types of documents. They are part of the basic 4 part Microsoft Office Professional software bundle. The last part of of the suite is Access which is a relational database program used for gathering data, creating statistical reports, tables.

They are word processing programs. Excel is for spreadsheets such as graphs and charts. Word is for business letters and reports. Powerpoint is for presentations and slide shows. There are free internet tutorials. Hope this helps!

Word creates documents - letters, brochures, etc
Excel does Math. It also makes spreadsheets (list of numbers, and other info)
Powerpoint is a tool that is for presentations. Like what you would use with an overhead projector.

Best to go to microsoft.com and check out the Office suite. They have 'demos' of what each of them will do.

It'll be difficult to fake knowing these programs as it takes some time to become proficient in using them. In a nutshell, Excel is used for budgeting. It can also be used for rosters. You work in cells that Excel can add and sort automatically for you. PowerPoint is used in creating presentations for meetings. You work with slides and can add text and art and make them animated.

You shouldn't profess at your interview that you know these software programs if you have not learned how to use them. If you are given a skills test it will be quite evident that you know nothing. Employers don't like to hire employees that are deceitful.

World ... you probably mean Word is a word processor program;

Power Point is a presentation application.

WORD (Not World) is a Microsoft word processor for writing letters, texts, reports, etc.

You're gonna need money than "honey" to pull this off .. It's not something you can learn overnite ... If you do go ahead with it good luck ... you're gonna need it ... Not being a b**ch here just realistic :-) Why not say you are on the waiting list for the next nite course at your local school ... If they like you enough at the interview they may sent you on one and pay for it too :-) Honesty in this instance is the best policy ...
