make sure you have the speakers plugged in the correct outlet and if they run off the mains electric that they are plugged in and turned on. If that don't work go to start-control panel-sounds and audio devices and check that the correct device is installed ( you may have on board sound as well as a sound card) if there are different devices try them out until they work. You may also want to right click on my computer-hardware-device manager to make sure there are no question marks, if there are check you got the correct drivers for the devices.

Check your speaker's cables and make sure they are secure to the back of your PC and in the right socket. If all is secure, make sure the power cord is plugged in if you have one. Make sure the power is on. If this doesn't clear the problem, then you should check your computer's master volume control to see if the volume it turned up, if it is turned up, make sure that the whole system is not muted. Still having problems, then you might want to check the drivers. Go to start right click on my computer and then click on properties, and then finally click on hardware. Next click on device manager and check to see that you do not have a yellow triangle or a yellow question mark next to any device. If you do have one, then right click on that device and click on reinstall driver. Hope that is helpful!

Hit the start bar....control panel.....then sounds and volumes...

Simply drag the volume button up from mute as it will probably be on...

Be a little careful as putting it on full volume will be too loud unless you want the whole office to hear the sounds!
