Most of the time it is up to you and your doctor. My doctor didn't want far travel after 36 weeks. But that differs from dr. to dr. Also take into account how you are feeling, I am a firm believer in mommy''s intuiton about things. If you feel like something may happen while you're traveling, don't go. Best of luck!

The end of the 6th month, beyond that it's not really very safe. There are many babies born on airplanes so I know that women fly well beyond 6 months but it's not very smart. The conditions on an airplane are not fit for giving birth.

I traveled at 8 1/2 months pregnant and asked the airline that very question. They just looked at me like I was insane and shrugged their shoulders.
I think that it depends on your doctor, though. They want you staying nearby when you get close. I think that I was good to go because my 1st came past 40 weeks and my 2nd was induced, so they figured that my 3rd would be later too.
He was! So I travelled with no problems!

Rules are different but mostly up to a month from due date. You have to have one certificate from your Gynecologist before the journey in most airlines
