it is for draining a 500 litre foam fire extinguishing system vessel into, I cannot flush it into the domestic drains because I would get foam out of every man hole cover for 5 miles :)

Well we have just brought a 35 litre tub. You can get them from a company called RS, they known for electrical spares mostly. If your company has a hardware or mechanical department they should have an account with them and you could order it from them. If not most large home improvement stores such as B&Q, Homebase should have them or could at least order one in for you.

Go to your local fish and chip shop - they give them away to the dustmen, so why not to you! (They're the ones they keep the oil in and need washing out of course)
