They are both the same thing which is weird.

In high school I was getting off the bus and fell flat on my face. My books went all over and my dress went up above my rear end. Thankfully my cousin was there to help me.

At work we were all assembled by the lunch room waiting to be told to go home because the power had gone out. I was coming one way around a blind corner and another worker who was deaf was coming the other way. We banged into each other and I was the one that fell. I got up very quickly, but I was extremely embarrassed.

My parents had just moved to a new town. I was in a new school where I didn't know anyone. I was in the fifth grade taking a test. At the time, for some odd reason, I thought that holding a pen in my mouth looked cool. It was a red pen. It was the old bic with the clear barrel with that little hole in the barrel. I started to notice a very bad taste in my mouth and then I knew that the pen had leaked. I was holding the ink in my mouth because I was afraid to swallow. I raised my hand to ask to go to the bathroom, but I couldn't talk, so the teacher just shook her head and looked back down at her work. I frantically looked around the room for something to spit in. There was nothing. My mouth was becoming more and more full from not swallowing. Finally, I spit out the red ink all over the floor and said:
"May I please go to the rest room?"
The teacher was horrified. She thought that the ink was blood and grabbed me and took me to the school nurse. Once the nurse examined me, she asked what I had put in my mouth and why. I felt so stupid and embarrassed. I was sent back to class and told to clean up the red mess on the floor while the whole class watched in silence. The red ink stained the wooden floor and was there by my desk all year. It was the worst school year of my life.

When I was about 15 I learnt an embarrassing lesson about suntans and sunglasses. On the Sunday before school I layed out in the hot sun for 3 hours wearing my shades thinking I'd get a cool looking tan. I then went inside and had a look in the mirror to see how cool I looked and to my horror I had white circles around my eyes where my sunglasses had been. I looked like a total idiot.
Of course the next day at school everybody was pointing and laughing at me. One of the teachers thought it was so bad she suggested I wear some of my mum's make up to cover up the white circles. I wasn't going to do THAT so I just soldiered on with it all week till it faded. In the meantime the laughing and pointing continued and even strangers in the street joined in!
