You can download a small utility software, CCleaner, for free from www.ccleaner.com. In addition to deleting the internet history, it also removes unwanted temporary files, invalid registry keys and loads of other crap which take up about 100-200MB space in the C: drive and slow down your computer. All you have to do is to run it once everyday before shutting down your system.

Delete History.

In Internet Explorer, Tools>Internet Options>Delete History>OK>Apply>OK>Exit.

Hiastory is gone.

For clear Web address :
Tools -> Internet Options -> Content -> Auto Complete -> Clear Forms

you can also clear Username and Passwords and other information of browserin it.

what rodiak said plus if u have downloaded AOL yahoo or some other tool bar you may need to click next to search and clear each tool bar independently sometimes also in tools and Internet options you may want to clear cookies files and ofline content
