Well, both. It's my birthday today but I would be devastated if I didn't get any presents. I love presents and those who love me know that I love presents, even if it is a cheap small thing (even if it only cost them 50 pence to buy). But I do hope they stick by me thick and thin...

Personally, i dont give presents on special occasions such as birthdays or christmas. I think that if a person is truly special, you should show them how mucth they mean every day of the year not just once or twice.

yes, always remember a friends birthday - it shows you care. Even if it is only a small pressie, like a bottle of bubble bath - it shows you did not forget. and wrap it nicely - it shows you care enough to try

i think it a little part of both and i think its a nice habit to give someone presents on theie birthdays i know i would possible not live if i dont get any presents on my birthday so go on give presents to everyone whom you think is worthy of it.
