There is no way to stop the duck from laying eggs unless spayed. Duck eggs do make for a great omelet, so instead of trying to "make" her stop, use it to your advantage.

Let her have a nest and do not take away the eggs, let her set on the eggs and take them away after about a week after she stops laying, this will at least pause the process. Maybe replace the eggs with wooden ones? She will lay eggs because she is a mature female and a bird.

Laying eggs is fantastic, i've got heard that they are outstanding for baking muffins. Having the male fertilize them is your situation. the two discover the drake a sparkling domicile and get her a girl companion, or build a separated cage for the two with a uncomplicated cord wall. Drakes could be extremely forceful in spite of if, and rehoming him to a duck hatchery or as a watch fastened puppy may be your superb thought. commerce him for a girl.

Ducks lay eggs because of their need to reproduce. Unless you have your duck spayed, their is no way of preventing egg laying.
