Youtube.com is a good way to spend an evening but the image quality is iffy.

www.asiaplate.com is good for sports including Premiership football (even if the commentary is iffy) - You will also need to load some p2p software with this.

www.chooseandwatch.com is quite good, but may not be suitable for all as it includes adult content.

The final choice is to torrent programs that have been shown in the USA.

Yeh but not full viewing, but you can watch certain programmes for free on the official Channel 4 site if you live in the UK.

If you have Winamp, just open the media library. In the left panel, find Shoutcast TV. 200 shows to choose from.
