If I drive from the US to Canada or to Mexico, am I going overseas? How about from Czech to Hungary? England to France (across the English Chanell (no sea there)).

If you do drive from US to Canada or to Mexico, your not travelling overseas your travelling overland, but in the case of England to France it is also not overseas as their are no seas to travel over. But in a case where your travelling from the US to England then you'll be crossing the Atlantic ocean so that is classed as overseas.

No. If you are driving to Canada or Mexico you are not going overseas. You're just visiting another country. You are only going overseas if you travel across the sea to get there. English people don't talk about "going overseas" when they go to France. They just say that they're going to France.

No, overseas means across the sea, not between the U.S. and Canada or Mexico where there is no sea.
