I'm a teacher in the UK and a few years back I set up a school website using free space from a UK company .. they had recieved backing from EU (apparently) to frovide free webspace to all schools in EEC to build a website... I have forgotten the companies name and cant find them with a web search! Anyone have any ideas.... This company had awards for winning websites... and Im sure had an Owl as a logo?

Forget the yankee wankee answer above (and shouldn't her nick be lil nanna, and not ill nanna?). The link below has a list of free providers for schools. Scroll down until you see the heading: Free School and Teacher Website Hosting. I didn't see any owls though.

If that's no cop, why not ask at your local LEA or the DfES?
