How can there be an end though? There must be something beyond it.

Or does it just go on forever? Is that possible?

Are there any scientific theories on this subject?

There is no end to the universe. By definition the universe is the entirety of everything.

I always found this a scary subject as a child. Even at 60 it still isn't my fave topic!
Apart from what is out there, I always wondered, "Where did God live before he made the Universe?" I have never met a vicar who didn't squirm at that one.

current theory says the universe is accelerating faster than ever and we just don't know if it's infinite or not yet; read the fabric of the cosmos by brian greene or stephen hawkings a brief histoiry of time
