i lost all my messages in messge archieve as i thought that they are stored in yahoo server like in mails.as my pc became old, i sold my old hard disk and installed new one.after installing my yahoo messenger i surprised to see that i lost all my messges which are very important.

Sorry to say but you can't recover the Archive Messages as When u installed new version they automatically gets deleted. You should have saved the same before updating ur messenger.

I believe that by default Yahoo deletes the message archive after they have been viewed and the archive has been closed.. Sorry friend...

I would say they are gone..sorry ..but true..they gone..
