The 'majority world' is the politically correct term for the 'Third World.' I am British, and appreciate underreported news. There are many interesting and important events that are not reported or ignored by the mainstream media.

Well, that precludes North Korea's nuclear test, if you exclude the mainstream media. I'd say North Korea going to be all over the news this week. Kim Jong Il is a total nutcase. And a nutcase with nuclear weapons likely won't be unreported for very long.

A question to be asked at the end of the week, surely, or are we supposed to be clairvoyant? And anyway what on earth is the majority world? The majority of the world's surface is water!

Ah! Judging by your other questions (about country music and dressing as a cowboy) you must be an American, and/or gay (possibly - at least that's what they thought of John Voight in Midnight Cowboy). So the majority world, for you, must be the USA.

Sorry, my interest in the USA (on a scale of 1 to 10) is minus 7.

If it hasn't been reported by mainstream media then it probably won't qualify as an interesting event
