Yes - it was really difficult.
We loved being around each other as mates, but one night it just turned into more than that...
We were sat on a wall waiting for our other mates, and we just looked at each other and kissed - it was so natural.
Unfortunately, he had a girlfriend, and worse still, she caught us just at the wrong moment. She thought it had been going on for ages, and we had to convince her otherwise. As she was my mate too, we decided to leave it, although there were still sparks there!
It made our friendship strained, and we fell apart, and me and his girlfriend were never mates again like before. I started dating someone else and our little group divided...
Never fall in love with a best friend!

we were spending so much time together it only seemed like a natural thing, until one night we kissed and things got weird.. he wanted more and i suddenly realised it was not what i wanted at all, the fact that we shared mutual friends made that harder for now, who's side would they take? nonetheless we are still good friends and we have vowed that if neither of us are engaged by the age of 26, we will finish what we started so long ago..

That would have made me homosexual. Normally, people you fall in love become your best friend, but; best friends don't become your lover.

but it happened more like, we started dating, he became my best friend, i fell in love with him. and the deeper i fall in love with him the closer we become as best friends

yeah kinda ...I came to know that he is in love with me ..i was plesantly surprised but I dint say anything..by the time i realised i wanted to be more then just friends with him ...he had a gf ..and I went back to friends mode :D ..but now he is single and am confused ....... any advice? ^_^

yes , he already had 1 gf ! did not wanted 2 create a mess or break our friend ship ! i did not told him about it !
