hi you are not clear with your question.

any how lets try to resolve the issue, i understand that you want to create a database and link to webpage isnt it,

If this the question which u asked then the best way is try to use any html editors, like FrontPage.

First and formost thing is you need to create database using MS Access or Sqlserver (again there is problem with ur ISP who is hosting your website).

You need to know which scripting language they will support and which database they will support.

Use that databse and create the table with the detailed fields which you require,

create an html page with the fields which you want to capture the data.

use the scripting language which is supported by your ISP provider (asp, jsp, php or cgi ).and connect the pages.

you want further assistance try to send me a message i will reply through my email

all the best and it seems your foods are nice.

Depending upon what your word processing package is on your PC but generally most packages have a Database function.

If using Word then you can use Microsoft Access which is a database management tool.

If using Works then use the Works database.

Get some books from the library or go on an ECDL course to learn about creating and maintaining databases.

If this is a hsoted webiste, many hosting companies include a database as part of your package. The most common is MySQL. Serach for MySQL in google for more info.

If you're collecting people's details don't forget about the requirements of the Data Protection Act.

If its a website database you are talking about, then it could be Access/MySQL or MS-SQL.

Access database can be created on PC using microsoft office (Access) and uploaded to the website.

MySQL database is already installed on the web server. Your webhosting provider will give you a access to PHPmyAdmin which is used to perform admin functions on MySQL databases.

Use Access. It's a Microsoft package and has a wizard to create new databases according to your specifications.

Openoffice have a free database as part of their office package. I don't thik it has anything fancy like MSAccess (which costs about £125), but I don't think that you want to do anything fancy, you just want a few tables I guess.
