When I was in graduate school (while working two jobs and asking my three children to bear with me while we went through some very hard times, as their father refused to pay child support), often the children and I would go to a donut shop once a month as a treat, and each of us could pick any roll/donut s/he wanted and we'd talk about what we wished for in the future. Several times we'd all work on sketches of a home we'd enjoy living in in the future. One of our favorites was a three-story home built into the side of a mountain (wishes are great fun!), with a natural waterfall coming out of the back, which would feed the showers we'd have in our bathrooms. We also thought a two-story aquarium wrapping around several sides would be a great idea (this originated from my then-8-year-old daughter who is now a successful veterinarian and whose clinic features not only a beautiful aquarium but also a two-story aviary just behind the reception area!)...We designed a kitchen with a gentle slope toward the center of the room, which featured a drain so we could wash down the floor as needed. The drain emptied into a cistern-like holding basin in the basement that would utilize fish and plants to convert the water into re-usable "grey" water. My kids continue this idea in their current homes. The baths are taken at night on the top floor, with the water kept overnight and then siphoned out to the lawn. I have a very successful worm composting setup in my laundry room...all the kitchen scraps go into a large tub filled with potting soil and bunches of beautiful, energetic worms that were otherwise destined to be bait for the fish who live in the river just behind my house. They are happier making worm castings (excellent natural fertilizer and a much-sought-after item here in the Midwest of the US, by the way), of course.

I have a friend whose bathroom is a delight to see. She collects "stuff" with an aquatic theme, and fixes them all over her large bathroom - with no real design, but a great deal of artistic flair. There are a few "fish" here and there, bubbles, vines, bamboo, etc. The colors are vibrant and unexpected, and I admire her style.

This is going to sound really boring to you but it's something I craved for in the summer. When my baby was born I struggled to keep him out of the sun when he was in his buggy. Parasols are useless, everytime you turn a corner you have to re-position them and the long ones that cover the length of it are too high up! I want one that has sides I can drop down that can be seen through but keep the rays out and can be rolled up when the sun isn't blazing down. Told you it's boring but I know hundreds of mums that would buy it.

Easy, a baby! Or a baby making machine, or a baby you can buy in tescos or a baby you grow in a pot.

Ohh, ok, a product. A way of getting my wheelchair up and down steps without having to stop and put out a ramp.

A television that is so flat that it can hang on your wall like a picture in a frame, with art work programed into it so that it actually looks like a picture when its switched off. It would also work with a rechargeable battery, avoiding the need for cables.

I love travelling, but am put off by bomb scares and the like going to many places. So for me, everyone to chill out and get on. Ditch bombs, weapons and resolve everything by talking, surely it cant be that difficult.

To be able to buy any organiser/diary where regardless of which one I pick (size, colour, etc.) each purchase donates money to a cancer foundation.

(I seem to have OCD when it comes to buying organisers/diaries... worst year I had 12 of them, this year I have done well, I've only bought 3)
