I like all types of music, from Heavy Metal to Opera. Some of my favourite bands/artists are:- Black Sabbath, Motorhead, Beatles, Beth Orton, Kathryn Williams, Kula Shaka, Madness, The Police, Alex Harvey, Frank Zappa, Duke Ellington, Billy Holliday, Yes, Green Day, The Magic Numbers, and far too many others to carry on listing here.

Hi Emma. I like various music, but mainly artists of colour. Some may consider me a racist for being that way but that's the way it is. Even though i was young I think the 60's and 70's produced some of the best music and bands in the western hemisphere. James Brown and the JB's, Burning Spear, Pink Floyd, you know the type of music that had substance. Then in the mid-late 80's i got into Hip Hop and and Reggae m.c-ing music, this was the music that was talking of my surroundings from my position in life. Public Enemy, KRS1, etc. Today i listen to every-thing but like only the minority of what hear, after listen to so much I've become choosy but that's what i am like with every-thing. Anyway good luck with you music.

I'm seriously into my funky breaks and beats from the more classic funk styles of The Bamboos, Breakestra, The New Mastersounds, Bobby Hughes Experience to the b-boy breaks of Skeewiff, Coldcut, Def Cut, Zeb.Roc.Ski, Jadell, Bronx Dogs and then into the noisier stuff like The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim, Chemical Brothers, DJ Shadow, Scratch Perverts and suchlike.

I love metal music the most, like Iron Maiden, Lacuna coil, a little Metallica, Arch Enemy etc

I listen to certain tracks in most genre's. I like Lady Sovereign, the earlier Eminem, the (very) occasional dance track a select few classical (Arthur's farewell, Star Wars theme etc), Pink, KT tunstall etc.

The only stuff I really detest is manufactured pop. Drivel like Girls aloud and anything off of X-factor and Paris Hilton. It's not original, it's not written by the band/singer/group, and it's electronically enhanced. It's crap.

I like Coldplay, Radiohead, Snowpatrol,Corine Baily Ray, Curtis Mayfield, and all the old time soul greats Marvin,Aretha,Roy Ayers etc. Also like Gospel music. Then again I like B Stiesand (can't spell sorry) Neil Dimond and Dolly Partan.

I like Retro music most... I'm Indian origin, but settled in the US.. hate the modern day music like hip-hop (except for a few).. but I'd really prefer the 70's - 90's styles... Eagles, Elton John, Robbie Williams (great guy), Queen, Simon & Garfunkel etc..
