I cringed all the way through! Giving birth shouldn't be like this, with a cast and crew at your side. For the woman who had the caesarean, no doubt her son will see this in 18 years and think, 'Why did she do this on live TV?'

Everybody wants there five minutes of fame. Some people will do anything to be in front of the camera. The idea of showing live births and the operations when it all goes wrong is sickening. But this is the state of the world that we live in and the program stands as a good indicator of the degradation we accept. Roll on the day the Truman show becomes reality.

I missed most of it but I did get to watch the end with the nature Cesarean i did think that was a bit weird. The reason it was done is to give woman a chance to see what happened b4 they have to do it I think this is a good idea as most woman don't get the chance to watch someone give birth, I would have liked to watched all of it as it would have been very educational

I watched it thinking it would be interesting ive had three children and childbirth is a natural thing i was really disappointed there were no live births just a cesaerian.I think it wasnt gonna show a live vaginal birth i think they just said that so they could get a good viewing rating.

I just thought it was just a bizzare programme. And the guy at that "serene" woman's c-section was just annoying to the max, poking his mic in everyone's faces.

It's a good thing nothing went wrong on the night, assuming it was really "live". But as with all major surgical procedures, c-sections can have complications, and I just wonder what they would do if one did arise?

Bit of a daft question.

Why would it be anything else, especially on Channel 5.

Didn't watch it, it was obvious it was going to be rubbish.

If it was good, them I guess I missed out. But I don't feel any less a person for it.

Sorry, can't stand all those populorist psuedo-documentry things.
