Confidence! Ask questions about the facility's particular practices that will relay your level of knowledge to your prospective employer: How many patients/employee....How many ambulatory patients.... something along those lines. Questions about patient care let your employer know that you are interested in the job itself and interested in getting to work. Good luck and thank you for pursuing a difficult but noble profession.

Some good tips when you are going to go on an interview are to
1. Research the company you are interviewing at.
2. Practice either in a mirror or with another person the types of answers you are going to give.
3. Always dress for success - wear appropriate clothing - such as a nice dress or a suit.
4. When in an interview, instead of saying Um or Uh - repeat the question back to the interviewer to give you time to gather your thoughts.
5. Always remain positive - never trash a previous boss or job.
6. If asked what a weakness you have is - have something prepared in advance that you can turn around into a positive.
7. Always have at least 2 questions prepared to ask in advance for when they ask you if you have any questions. Come prepaired with a notepad/planner/folder to write notes in.
8. Always maintain eye contact.
9. Try not to fidgit or move around too much.
10. Always bring a resume.

And lastly - always shake hands at the end and thank them for the opportunity to interview with them. Also ask when you can expect to hear from them along with a contact number and name that you can follow up with.

Good Luck!!

I wish you all the best for the interview. You can wear a saree or a salwar but whatever you wear you should look neat and tidy. Dont get nervous, which will reflect on the face. Speak confidentally. Try to know something about the company you are going for the interview which will be an advantage. Anyway seeing the experience you are having, I don't think there is any chance of lossing this job. ALL THE BEST ONCE AGAIN

I do the same thing. I'm sure they are screaming for staff just as much as any place I know, good workers are hard to get. If you have 11yrs experience you are laughing hey. Don't dress too formally but look nice, obviously. A clean and tidy appearance will help. Be bright eyed and bushy tailed and enthusiastic about the new job offer. Keep words like 'compassion', 'comfort', 'dignity', and 'respect' handy, and be prepared for questions like 'why do you want to work in a nursing home, or work with the elderly'....try answers like 'we have a lot to learn from them'...and avoid things like 'Hey it's good money'... of course good eye contact is a must, and be attentive during the interview.
