Of these, I personally recommend Indigo Prophecy, which has pretty good writing and has nice graphics.

Alternatively, you may search for your favourite games at http://www.gamespot.com. On the game pages, you will see two columns, and down the one on the right you can find this box listing similar games, which is rather useful.
