im planning on proposing to my lady, possibly over the microphone on our plane journey to ghana at xmas, or on a beautiful beach in ghana?
im a romantic soft sod really and obviously i want it to be great - but im doing it over the xmas period when we are in Ghana so i cant fall back on my plan of champagne balloon ride lol

Both ideas sound romantic. But I would go more for the beach in private. The microphone might be embarrassing if your girl is shy.

Beach or wherever time and place. What is important and this is the bottomline is that you make sure that when you ask her to marry you she will at that instant will feel that to you she's the most important person in the world. At that moment you placed her on top of a pedestal.
Believe me, your woman will be in cloud nine and she should enjoy and cherish that moment to the hilt a you would do the same when she says yes to you.
The location as you have planned is just the icing on the cake.
Me? I did it when we were both alone. For me it was an event in my life and also in her life that that can be best remembered as between two people and two people only. of course there was much celebration among family and friends there after.

Easy! The beach, obviously! Then after you've proposed you can have that intimate privacy you wouldn't get if you proposed on the plane microphone. As a chick, I'd be a bit embarrassed by unwanted attention and well wishes from other passengers, I'd just want to focus on "us".
Better yet, do it in the late afternoon, when the sun is still warm and lovely and there is a beautiful sunset.

I would definitely go for the beach, a nice table with lovely food and champagne and maybe the ring at the bottom of her glass of champagne and then go on bended and ask her the big question!! Good luck

Both are good ideas but u will choose the proposal that suits the liking of Ur girl friend.if she is more of adventure type then go for balloon and if she is more romantic type then sunset on beach will be best spot and if she is too much shy then go for microphone and remind u just follow the way she feels for it.

aaah thats so sweet im sure ur beautiful lady would love that u didnt say how long u have been together now. when my other half proposed to me he had to ask my mum how i would like to be proposed to which she replied loads candles in the living room with our music playing and some drinks it was very romantic maybe u should find out what would be her perfect night? u seem like the really generous guy who has a heart of gold

I'd go for the beach too - a much more romantic setting. You can have your champagne - perhaps you could suprise her with it on the beach. Just imagine, a chilled glass of bubbly, the sun setting over the warm, tropical sea, the two of you holding hands on the beach - ahhh! Bless! Best of luck!

Save it for the beach; I don't think there'd be a great deal of romance in doing it over a PA system on a plane (unless of course you're flying first class or on a private jet).
