fire my cabinet and start all over again! Get the troops out of Iraq and send them to africa! Tell Israel, "have at it, how big do you want your country to be?" Tell China "either you get'em or I will" about N. Korea. Legalize pot and put the ATF in control, regulate it like alcohol and tax the hell out of it. Lift the embargo on Cuba, 40 years is long enough, and I want a stogie!! Pardon Everyone in prison who was busted for selling Marijuana, on the terms that they committed no other crime while doing so. Then I chase a couple of interns!

Pardon debts of poor nations, on the condition that new, internationally-monitored democratic elections are held first. As long as the election is deemed democratic by election-watchers, it doesn't matter who gets elected (that's the people's perogative).
Pledge funding for adult stem-cell research.
Make good on the promise made in WW2, and endorse the bill for Filipino war veterans, instead of waiting for them to die. Applies to all other war allies. Perhaps then, countries will be more willing to join in the fight against terror (because we take care of those who fight with us) rather than joining the other side.

change the world...hmm
if you want positive answers with workable plans I'm afraid not much can be done within a day...not unless you regard funding charities etc as equivalent to "change the world" ...I think that's only temporary...to change the world positively we need more than one day president.
but negative wise, there's a lot we can do, start world war, fire nuclear weapons and the list goes on...all this can be done within a day, with one order, one signature...

wah, what a question. Don't have serious thought yet. 1 day president can't do much. I think the easy way is to promote everybody who are under paid.

i would dissolve the parliament immediately appoint a team of citizen with impeckable personal record for review of constitution,judiciary sytem,policesystem,burocratic functioning,education system immediately.
