All the Football Great`s you have listed have two thing`s in common. Number One, they are all in the Footballer`s Hall Of Fame. Number two, They all have been awarded The Football Writer`s Association Footballer of the Year. Tom Finney, in, 1955 & 1958, George Best, in, 1968, Gordon Banks, in, 1972, and Peter Shilton, in, 1991. As for the Footballers Hall Of Fame George, Peter & Gordon are all dated as 2002, I could`nt find out what date Tom was entered into the Hall of Fame. And to GHIVE they are not all dead at all.The only one who is dead is George Best who died on the 25th November 2005 aged 59. Tom Finney is 84, Gordon Banks is 69, Peter Shilton is 57.

They were all inaugural inductees into the English football hall of fame.
Also I believe (I'll try to be careful here for legal reasons) that both Best and Shilton have suffered from allegations or gossip in relation to domestic violence. However, from what I know about Finney and Banks I would think it highly unlikely that this links them too.

Well, firstly, they are all male and they are all from the British Isles which mean they drink beer, goes to Hyde Park at some point in their life, listen to the Beatles, likes football, goes to the local pub every Saturday, has lousy food for dinner unless its fish and chips.
