Actually the egg came first , the first chicken was a mutation from another bird and slowley evolved into the present chicken.

if you think logically and look at evolution, the egg had to come first. a bird very similar to a chicken (the last one presumably) laid the egg which had the final stage of evolution into a chicken in it. when the egg hatched, the chicken was born.

The egg must have come first...becaus ethe chicken must have evolved from another bird and then made and layed as an egg which would hatch as a chicken!

Wouldn't it have to be the chicken? Because if an egg just appeared at the beginning, there wouldn't be anything to sit on it to keep it warm so it could hatch.
