Ironic metal cover? Or just a stupid idea? Your views please ...

Ha ha... I did backing vocals on this and thought it was pretty bizarre. Not as bizarre as some of the other stuff we recorded though.

We also spent ages on a cover of Shakespeare's Sister "Stay"...don't know whether that made it to the album though, there was a problem with the underlay being slightly out of tune so we couldn't get the backing vocals to sound right.

Sorry but there are some songs that shouldn't be re covered by another group. Temptation is one of them.
Like Baker Street from Gerry Rafferty been done by 3 other famous singers and they made a mess of it too.

Haven't heard it but I expect that it's a serious attempt at the mutation of a different musical genre's song, though with tongue slightly in cheek. They covered Cliff Richards' 'Devil woman' too - don't believe that it went down too well with fans of either artist(s). I wouldn't want an album full of that sort of stuff, but I think that it makes a nice bonus as something a bit different.
