You cannot eliminate them. They are very important to everyones life!

THINK... If you had NO FEAR you wouldn't be afraid to walk off a cliff, or stick your hand in a meat grinder.

Fear and anxiety to a certain degree are vital ! It's when that becomes a problem with everyday life that something has to be done.

I think that fear and anxiety are survival instincts that come from the caveman days when these feelings caused adrenalin in our systems which helped us to get ready to fight or flee. I think in this day and age, these feelings are mostly outdated but they come out in feelings of stress. I'm not certain about how to eliminate them completely and don't know if we really want to completely eliminate them because these are instincts that help us detect danger and survive.

Thinking too much. We overanalyze. We panic about things that will never happen. It's the fight or flight mechanism. In our past, it was necessary to feel fear to keep us from danger (an animal might attack etc). These days we don't have to be constantly vigiliant. Most of our fears are unreasonable. We're not under attack. I don't know if we can eliminate it. We can try to lessen it by trying to relax, deep breathing & trying to think rationally when faced with fears.
