This is the whole point, modesty is prescribed to protect women from molestation or simply, modesty is protection. Thus, the only purpose of the veil in Islam is protection. The Islamic veil, unlike the veil of the Christian tradition, is not a sign of man's authority over woman nor is it a sign of woman's subjection to man. The Islamic veil, unlike the veil in the Jewish tradition, is not a sign of luxury and distinction of some noble married women. The Islamic veil is only a sign of modesty with the purpose of protecting women, all women. The Islamic philosophy is that it is always better to be safe than sorry. In fact, the Quran is so concerned with protecting women's bodies and women's reputation that a man who dares to falsely accuse a woman of unchastity will be severely punished:

i dont think of its incorrect ,its in simple terms like saying Jews donning those hats , or nuns donning those black and white clothing . if its what they have self belief in , then i think of no physique ought to take that remote from them ,or criticise them for it . think of as a non muslim , your married ,have an exquisite spouse and childrens . and d while your spouse dresses up and is going out she looks surprising , and if yet another guy looks or passes remark on her then you definately could sense somewhat annoyed or disillusioned . and maybe in the adventure that your spouse is bored to death with you she might stray , now think of your spouse covers her head and physique , and purely you get to confirm whats at the back of the headscarf or under the veil , does not you sense proud that she could try this for you . and that could additionally show she has no interest in showing herself off to different adult men , . subsequently extremely some the girls do it . and in spite of if extremely some human beings would possibly not accept as true with it , you should confess its kinda staggering . if a woman is bald she is often going to look in actuality a similar . yet while a woman has hair then she will color and sweetness it which variations the way she looks . so if somebody sees a woman walking down the line all cove rd up , no one is extremely going to make lots of a flow on her, meaning its left to her husband to confirm .

Gee thanks or explaining what a veil is!

Having lived in the middle east for 2 years I learns why some women and age groups wore veils and why others didn't. It's their culture I don't care one way or the other and I imagine they weren't interested in my opinion either.

Those women are pretty hairy. Maybe they use the veil to cover their stubble.
I don't know, do they wax their faces?
Here in Philadelphia, guys put on the Muslim burka and headgear and go into banks and STICK THEM UP.
Pretty smart, eh?
